Respecting your anatomy

Well-shaped lips respect what you already have: the lip border, the Cupid's bow, and the proportions between the upper and lower lip. We're not trying to redraw a mouth, but to bring out yours.

We look from the front… and in profile

Lips aren't judged only in the mirror, from the front. In profile, lip projection, the position of the chin and the line of the nose completely change what looks balanced. Sometimes a slightly receding chin makes the lips look too far forward; in that case, treating the chin can give a better result than adding volume to the lips.

Hydration or volume?

Many patients think they need more volume. What they often want is lips that are smoother, healthier-looking, better defined and hydrated. A small amount of product, well placed, is often enough. Read our guide ½ syringe or 1 syringe to help you choose.

The right product for the right result

Not all fillers are alike: some are softer and more natural for lips, others firmer for contour or structure. We choose the product for the area and the effect you want, never out of habit.

• Consultation first: we look at your lips from the front, in profile and in motion.
• Less, but better: we'd rather build in steps than overdo it.
• Follow-up: we review the result once swelling settles, about two weeks later.
