Gummy smile
When you smile, a lot of gum shows above the top teeth.

Understanding it
A gummy smile is very common and often a source of self-consciousness. It usually comes from a muscle that lifts the upper lip a little too high when smiling, sometimes combined with a naturally short lip.
The causes
What causes it
01
A muscle lifting the upper lip too high
02
A short upper lip
03
Tooth or jaw shape
Our approach
A few units of neuromodulator on each side of the nose soften that movement. The lip lifts a little less and the smile looks more balanced. When the cause is dental or skeletal, we refer you to a dentist.
