Dark circles and under-eye hollows
A dark or hollow area under the eyes that makes you look tired, even after a good night's sleep.

Understanding it
Dark circles rarely have a single cause. For some it's a hollow: the fat pad under the eye shrinks over time and casts a shadow. For others it's the skin, so thin it shows bluish vessels, or brown pigmentation that often runs in families. Identifying the right type is key: the wrong treatment can even make things worse.
The causes
What causes it
Loss of volume and fat with age
Very thin skin that shows the vessels underneath
Genetics and bone structure
Lack of sleep, allergies and rubbing
Our approach
We first look at the area under different lighting. A hollow is often corrected with a small, very precisely placed amount of filler. Thin, crepey skin responds better to regenerative treatments like PRF or polynucleotides. Often the best approach combines both.
Under-eye filler
What to expect
About 45 minutes
Possible swelling or bruising for a few days
Visible within 1 to 2 weeks
